THE MICHAEL OTTON SHOW – COMEDY, MAGIC & ILLUSION

Michael has been performing magic for more than a decade, and The Michael Otton Magic and Illusion Show has never failed to stun and amaze audiences around the world, leaving them on the edge of their seat. Far from what is usually experienced in magical performances, Michael combines comedy and humour with the amazement and wonder of magic to create a show with a contemporary twist which can be enjoyed by young and old – from levitating audience members, large visual illusions, psychic predictions, mind reading and comedy, the show has something for everyone.

Members of the audience will also become stars of the show, with many invited to come on stage to assist Michael, while the crowd can join in with the magic from the comfort of their own seats on a number of occasions with audience participation. His ability to captivate audiences with magic and illusion, from thrilling escapology to mind boggling predictions, while also incorporating comedy into his performance, leaves him well equipped to entertain people of all ages.

Over the years, Michael has entertained audiences worldwide, including in America, Spain, Mexico and the Caribbean, working in theatres, resorts, hotels and on cruise ships. He also spent two years performing for Disney on both of their cruise ships – Disney Magic & Disney Wonder. With 20,000 followers on Twitter, Michael has built up a loyal fan base and last year was named as the patron of Broxbourne’s performing arts school The Valle Academy. He is currently touring the UK with The Michael Otton Show: Comedy, Magic & Illusion, which was launched in The Haymarket Theatre, Basingstoke, in September 2013 with a sell-out show. Following on from this success, he performed in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, in March 2014 to another sold-out audience and is next taking his show to Ipswich, Suffolk, on October 25th.
